Mr. Drake Address His 2010-2011 Classes

As you may know, I have been out on medical leave and plan to return in the Fall. Check here during the Summer for more detailed up-dates. In the meanwhile:

We want to start the school year of with a enormous push! All students, though each class period, will be expected to remain quiet and well-disciplined from the first day’s opening bell on through to the last bell of the last day. There will be no exceptions. Being in this class, you’ll be focusing on communicating on life skills, developing good habits —and why they should be developed. Why? It’s simple. Our options are are growing continuously limited. We’ve developed knee-jerk reactions to everything. We have to collect, develop, or learn how to develop more options… many, more. Admit it (I do continually) the same one hasn’t been successful for a long tone.

What does this have anything to do with “English Class”?

Your teacher, your parents, the administration in this school and at the Board Offices, together with the whole Lakewood community, will be participating in your education with you. You will always be considered, and you will never be forgotten. Open space is the perfect please for our mature creativity to grow.
